Prof. Dr. Md. Nurun Nabi (Ex Faculty of ME, Now in Australia) was awarded the Harry L. Horning Memorial Award from Japan in 2000. This award was provided to the author for the best contribution to the mutual adaptation of fuels and internal combustion engines. The award preserves the memory of the dedication of SAE's 1925 president, Harry L. Horning. The award consists of a certificate, bronze medal, and honorarium presented at an SAE event.
